Olympian Matej Tóth and rajo Breiky help to get children moving

Movement is one of the most important activities to help children be healthy and feel good. The mission of the O2 Sports Academy of Matej Tóth is to get children all over the country moving. Currently, the academy is available in more than 150 schools across the country. In the current year, up to 40 primary schools can receive the academy.
The international HBSC study (Health Behaviour in School-aged Children), which monitors the health and behaviour of schoolchildren, including in Slovakia, shows that only a fifth of girls (19%) and a third of boys (28%) aged 11 do at least one hour of physical activity every day. Meanwhile, a fifth of girls (21%) and two-fifths of boys (40%) aged 11 are obese. These figures are alarming.
That is why MEGGLE Slovakia has been a partner of the O2 Matej Tóth Sports Academy for the second year. “We are aware that part of a child’s healthy development, apart from exercise, is also establishing healthy eating habits. This includes the consumption of milk and dairy products. Brejky is a popular product that children like, but also provides them with the necessary nutrients for their healthy development,” explains Andrea Horváthová, product manager of rajo Brejky.
Milk is one of the main sources of calcium, which is essential for healthy bones and teeth. Reduced milk consumption can lead to an increased risk of osteoporosis, especially in children and adolescents. Milk also contains other important nutrients such as protein, B vitamins and minerals.
